Fate/Zero: Main Dish, Reccomended

This anime hits hard with its solid substance and well-refined taste, but at the same time it draws the diner into a etherial world full of magic and intrigue. In other words, the perfect steak dinner. Perhaps if this anime were a steak, it would be a rare rib-eye with spicy steak sauce on the side.

However, it's not a steak. It's an anime, and that distinction is critical in this case--at some points, it really does feel as if this anime wants to be a sauteed or perhaps grilled hunk of cow flesh. Due to this, I can't reccomend this anime to those with a palette for something more wholesome, something more in the spirit of anime and "anime logic." The superpowers in this anime hit hard, leaving one with the aftertaste of spicy curry. Perhaps that curry tasted good. Perhaps it tasted bad. It's hard to tell because it's so spicy.

A good anime to watch right after finishing Natsu-iro Kiseki, or perhaps while watching it. The two animes compliment each other very well in their total opposition to each other in terms of narrative style masked in an almost identical cg-anime sauce. If you're looking for a filling piece with lots to give and lots to take, this is the anime for you.

You can look it up here.
